Culture, resigned Carandini against a government that only knows how to make cuts

Prato - President of the High Council of Cultural Property, Andrea Carandini, has tendered his resignation to the minister Bondi firm that had appointed him in that role February 25, 2009. Professor Carandini has motivated the resignation to "the inability of the Ministry to carry out that work of development and protection of cultural heritage because of the massive progressive reduction of the budget." And before you add other considerations should be noted that Professor Carandini was in turn nominated instead of resigning Settis Savior who had left for the complete disagreement on the management and protection of the cultural policy of the government. "So it's one area of \u200b\u200bCultural Heritage, the Berlusconi government is mistreating some time and that decent people, those who care about the Italian cultural heritage, can not share in any way. Professor Carandini has preferred to give his resignation so as not to become complicit in a government that is destroying the national cultural heritage.
It is from this conviction that the cultural policy for Tuscany has to leave lest they themselves involved in this drift obscurantist incapable of a minister and a government that in the last financial knew how to use only the hatchet to cut funding for culture. Tuscany has an invaluable asset in terms of artistic, archaeological, museum and humane. A wealth producing economic wealth but also with emotions, keeps alive the sense of belonging, enlighten the hearts and opens minds. Only an administrator unable to look beyond your nose it would jeopardize its existence. It should be the Minister Sandro Bondi to have the courage to give their irrevocable resignations and Professor Carandini, but this is too much to ask for a ruling class of this center that is even in these days studying the possibility of bringing on a chair that Minister Claudio Scajola of which we are all too busy in recent months and certainly not for its seriousness and righteousness.
I am convinced that the junta, led by Governor Henry Smith, and especially the Regional Minister for Culture, Cristina Scaletti will find the right chemistry, because, at least in our region, you get to the disaster that did live in planet in all its drama, the collapse of the Domus of the gladiators in Pompeii in November. A difficult task since it is impossible to replace the funds that are cut by the central government, but we know Toscani and roll up sleeves. Will is already power.
